Linen is one of the toughest fabrics to get stains out of. It is a natural fabric and natural fabrics tend to absorb liquids. Synthetics, on the other hand, tend to get coated with stains, therefore easier to remove.

Yet another example of moving damage on this white painted pressboard dresser. Chipboard is not easy to fix. It’s important to repair it right away, too, because it absorbs moisture from the air. Then you’ve got a puffed up mess that doesn’t fit...
